Spectrum WallCo Painting, LLC provides labor, equipment, paint, and sundries required to complete the work quoted in your cabinet painting proposal. The scope of work includes:
- Degrease/clean both sides of the doors and all exterior elements of the cabinet carcasses.
- All prepared surfaces are to be sanded to 180# grit prior to the application of the bonding primer.
- The primed surfaces are to have defects filled and sanded to a 320# grit prior to the application of a catalyzed high-build tannin blocking primer. Tannin is a naturally occurring mineral found in oak that would bleed through the finish coat if not properly treated.
- This secondary primed surface is sanded to 320# grit prior to the application of the first coat of the waterborne polyurethane finish paint.
- A final sanding to 320# grit and application of a cross-linked catalyzed coat of the finish paint completes the process.
- Spectrum WallCo Painting, LLC provides workers' compensation and contractor liability insurance pertinent to this project.
- If you would provide an accurate count of the doors, drawers, and end panels along with photos of the general layout of the kitchen cabinetry using the form below, we can provide you with a “ballpark” estimate.
